Zig Zag Card (plastic) by Mr. Magic

Effect: The performer shows a plastic frame having four windows. Three of these windows are on one side of the frame forming a vertical column while the fourth one is at the middle of the other side. Next, the performer shows the card and inserts it in the frame. The card is clearly visible through three windows on one side of the frame.

The Performer mimes to cut the card into three pieces and then suddenly slides the middle of the cards towards the single window on the other side of the frame.

Now it is seen that the card is in three pieces - the the middle section of the card is on one side and the upper and lower section are on the other side! After a slight pause the performer slides the middle section of the card back to its original position, between the other two pieces, and takes out the card from the frame. The card is completely restored. The performer has performed the most powerful stage illusion in miniature form, close-up viewers are thoroughly baffled!
